Clandestine radio station in OD Region 16
- this page is a stub
Towards the end of WWII, the Post in de Vloeiweide was a temporary
underground radio station,
operated by the Dutch resistance organisation
Ordedienst (OD)
from the house of forester Neefs, located in the Vloeiweide —
an irregation meadow in Rijsbergen (near Breda, Netherlands).
On 4 October 1944, the Germans raided the house and killed five OD members
and four civilians. Eight further OD members were captured
and were executed the following day, on 5 October 1944 [1].

In addition, three Germans lost their lives during the raid.
The image on the right shows the house of forester Neefs and his family
a year after the end of the war, in 1946.
