This page acts as a respository for user and service documentation for the
Philips RT-3600 radio set. In the table below, any line that is
shown in blue can be downloaded directly by clicking on it.
Since the RT-3600 is a Dutch radio, most manuals are in the Dutch language.
As the number of manuals available in English is limited, we have listed
them first. Dutch manuals are further down.

Nederlands zijn geschreven. Dit is gedaan omdat het hier een Nederlandse
radio betreft, waarvan de meeste documentatie uitsluitend in het Nederlands
beschikbaar is. De weinige Engelstalige handleidingen staan daarom bovenaan.

Below are the manuals for the RT-3600 family that are available in
English. Note that these manuals do not have a regular designator or
NSN number. We have therefore given them a useful alternative
designator. Extra files and appendices are preceded by a ➤ symbol.

Hieronder staan de Nederlandstalige handleidingen van de RT-3600 familie.
Namen met TH betreffen Technische Handleidingen.
De cijfers ervóór geven aan voor welk echelon het bestemd is.
DL betekent Detaillijst.
Extra bestanden en bijlagen worden voorafgegaan door een ➤ teken.
Een ➤ teken in de laatste kolom geeft aan dat elders op de site meer
informatie beschikbaar is.

Binnen de krijgsmacht wordt het onderhoud van materieel verdeeld in
echelons. Dit bepaalt wie het onderhoud mag uitvoeren en hoe complex
de werkzaamheden zijn. Hoe hoger het echelon, hoe complexer de
werkzaamheden. De volgende echelons zijn bekend:

- Gebruikersonderhoud
- Troepenonderhoud (peloton of bataljon)
- Veldonderhoud (specifieke reparatie-eenheid of herstelwerkplaats)
- Depotonderhoud (wordt door Defensie zelf uitgevoerd op centraal niveau)
- Fabrieksonderhoud (wordt alléén door de fabrikant uitgevoerd)

In de praktijk zijn 4e en 5e echelon vaak samengevoegd.

One of the reasons for scanning the RT-3600 manuals and offering them
through this website, is that the quality of the
original manuals
deteriorates over time. This loss of quality is primarily caused by
the grey PVC covers of the binders in which the manuals are kept.
Over time, PVC gasses out, which causes ink and toner to become
unstable and dispose itself onto the opposite page or
the PVC cover itself,
which leads to sticky pages and image ghosting.
Our advice: get rid of the PVC binders.
