CIA NRP EC
The system works in the 400-480 MHz UHF frequency range 1 and uses pulse
trains for sending two commands: ON and OFF. Although it could be used with
virtually any type of covert listening device,
it was primarily intended for the SRS-52,
SRS-56 and SRS-91 bugging systems.
There were two versions of the QRR-25 receiver: a small one
for operation with batteries, and a larger one with a built-in mains
power supply unit (PSU). The two variants are shown in the image on the
right. The bright yellow colour indicates that these were laboratory models.

An enhanced version of the QRR-25, with built-in UWP mains power supply unit
(PSU) was known as QRR-25-UWP. De device has a length of 115 mm and
weighs 150 grams, including the cabling and connectors.
