Supplier of covert and crypto equipment - this page is a stub

PK Electronic was a supplier (not a manufacturer) of covert listening devices (bugs), technical surveillance and countermeasures equiment (TSCM), and cryptographic gear, based in Hamburg (Germany). The company was founded on 2 June 1987 by Peter Arthur Klüver, and supplied to an international customer base, despite export restictions for some of the equipment [1].

The company 1 is listed as a CIA front, in Wayne Madsen's books: National Security Agency Surveillance, Reflections and Revelations 2001-2013 [1], and: The Almost Classified Guide to CIA Front Companies, Proprietaries & Contractors [2].   1. In his publications, Madsen repeatedly calls the company PK Electronics (with an 's' at the end), but we believe this to be a typo.
