Electronic cipher machine - this page is a stub

The M-205 was an electronic cipher machine, developed in the mid-1980s in the former USSR as the successor to the mechanical M-105 (Agat) One-Time Tape cipher machine. Development started in 1983 but it was not until 1986 that the first machines were taken into service. In 1987, the M-205 D1 variant was introduced.
