ProtectServer Orange External is an unbranded Personal Computer (PC),
sold in the early 2000s by the Australian multinational company
Eracom Technologies Pty. Ltd.
(later: SafeNet)
for secure handling of sensitive data and financial transactions.
It is fitted with the company's CSA-8000
Hardware Security Module (HSM),
a.k.a. ProtectHost Orange, and software from
Concord-Eracom.

The image on the right shows a typical ProtectServer Orange External
that is fitted with the CSA-8000 HSM.
It was donated in August 2026 by Benne de Weger, a former Concord-Eracom
employee and later Professor at the Coding Theory & Cryptology Group of
the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e, Netherlands).
