ATET 1 was an electronics company that developed, manufactured and sold
equipment, systems and solutions in the field of communications and security,
for private as well as government use. The company was based in Torino
and Rome (Italy) and sold to customers in Italy and worldwide.
Since 1960, ATET had specialized in the development and production of
miniature and subminiature
transmitters for surveillance and covert listing,
selling exclusively to the Ministry of Defence and to
law enforcement and intelligence agencies around the world,
including Germany and the Netherlands. Although it is difficult to find

According to ATET's annual financial reports, 2023 saw a rapid decline of
turnover. In that year, the company reported a turnover of EUR 322,794
with a net profit of EUR 6,945 and a personnel budget of EUR 260,447.
The 2024, the turnover declined to EUR 105,704,
although the reported profit was EUR 96,160 as the company was preparing
for restructuring (closure).
ATET entered voluntary liquidation on 24 October 2024, following
a resolution passed by its chareholders.
The current status of the company
is 'A.T.E.T. S.r.l. in Liquidazione' (in liquidation) (2026).
