1R5
The 1R5 is a miniature battery heptode frequency changer valve (tube), developed especially for all-wave receivers for frequencies up to 20 MHz. The low current of the filament (header) makes it particularly suitable for application in portable battery-powered equipment. It has a B7G base. The 1R5 was first introduced in the US in 1940 and a couple of years later also in the UK. Pinout as seen from the bottom of the valve.
