Operating instructions

Below are some guidelines for the operation of the
WSA-6 spy radio set and the
dedicated controller, based on the
operating instructions printed in the Russian manual [A].
Note that this is a work in progress and that the instructions are
incomplete. Since we do not have access to a working controller, we
currently have no means of verifying the information presented below.

The device has two modes of operation, named Mode 1 and Mode 2.
In each mode, the functions of the buttons on the hexadecimal keypad
are different. The following modes are available:

In this mode, the buttons on the keypad have the following meaning:

A Enter B Check groups in decreasing order C Clear D Delete group E Insert group F Check groups and select Mode 2 0...9 Enter data

In this mode, the buttons on the keypad have the following meaning:

A Settings B(1) Transmitter setup? B(2) Data for transmission? B(3) Check supply voltage? B(4) Enter frequency? C Home + reset D Transfer data to transmitter E Transmit data F(1) Enter frequency F(2) Set frequency
