301511 - Storage case for Filin direction finder
Brown suitcase in very good condition, issued during the Cold War by the Soviet Union, with frames and pockets to hold a Filin body-wearable direction finder and accessories.

The case measures 560 x 330 x 175 mm. Note that the plastic grip (handle) has been repaired but remains brittle. The Filin direction finder itself is not part of the sale.

300009 - Minox enlarger Model II 25401
Minox Model II - 25401 – enlarger for printing photographic images from 11 x 8 mm negatives, as used with the well-known Minox spy cameras.

The device measures roughly 690 x 420 x 400 mm and can easily be disassembled. It has a 6V lamp and is powered by the 110 or 220V AC mains (currently wired for 220V). Lenses and diffusors are clean. In excellent and working condition.

Telefunken open reel tape recorder M-36 in ruggedised military enclosure. Judging from the die-cast enclosure, the high quality wiring and the choice of first class components, this device must have cost a fortune at the time.

Please note that this device is untested and will be supplied 'as is'. No components are missing and the device is in good cosmetic condition.

303444 - Abwehr E-98 receiver
Extremely rare WWII German Abwehr E-98 receiver, which was used as part of the SE-98/3 spy radio set. In good cosmetic condition and fully operational (no warranty though).

Fully restored item. Partly original and partly reconstructed with original materials, after discovery in an underground cache in the 1980s. The photographs are from the actual device.

Note that this sale is for the E-98 receiver only.

303445 - Enigma case
Aftermarket wooden storage case for an Enigma-I cipher machine, probably made during the Cold War when Enigma machines were re-issued and original cases were too far gone.

Inside the lid is a wooden hinged compartment for spare light bulbs. The 'Zur Beachtung' placard is a photocopy. The note 'Klappe Schließen' on the hinged flap at the front, is imprinted (not stamped). The photographs are taken from the actual object. Sold 'as is'.

302715 - Spy radio set RS-1
RS-1 (AN/GRC-901) spy radio set, introduced by the CIA in 1948, consisting of a T-784A (RT-3) transmitter, an R-1004A (RR-2) reiver and a PP-2684 (RP-1) PSU/inverter/charger.


Transmitter and receiver come with watertight lids that are held in place byspring-loaded clips. The lid of the PSU is missing. Furthermore, the battery cables of the PSU (needed for battery operation) are missing, but can easily be fitted.

Untested but believed to be OK.
Package weight: 22 kg.

Crypto AG (Hagelin) HC-520 portable encryption device, introduced around 1977 as part of the CRYPTOMATIC family of devices. This particular item was used by the Government of Argentina.

Fully refurbished and tested, but no warrantly as it is an old device. Old Lithium backup batteries removed in order to prevent damage. Supplied with new mains power adapter. Multiple units available. Stock photograph.
