PRC-152
Handheld tactical radio - this page is a stub - wanted item

AN/PRC-152 is a military tactical handheld VHF/UHF radio transceiver with built-in COMSEC for the 30-512 MHz frequency range, introduced in 2005 by Harris Corporation (now: L3Harris). It is compliant with the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Software Communications Architecture (SCA) and is certified by NSA for communication of TOP SECRET information, formerly known as Type 1.

The PRC-152 entered production in 2005 and was still available in 2024. By 2012, approximately 100,000 units had been sold. The export version of the PRC-152 — the RF-310M-HH — does not have NSA Type 1 encryption, but instead features Citadel II, a Harris proprietary algorithm that has been approved for export by NSA.
