RX-1000M is a VLF/HF monitoring and surveillance receiver,
introduced in 1992 1 by Hagenuk in Kiel (Germany)
as the successor to the RX-1001 (1980).
The device was built especially for the German Navy (Bundesmarine)
and was often used with the TG-1001M FSK/FAX demodulator.

differs from other sources on the internet that claim an introduction
date of 1975. We believe sources [1] and [2] to be correct.
