Radio Receptor Company Inc., or Radio Receptor Co.,
abbrebiated RR,
was an American electronics manufacturer, founded in 1922
and headquartered in Brooklyn (New York, USA).
Apart from domestic radios, RR also manufactured products for industry
and the government, including the US Army and the
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). In 1957, the company was acquired by General Instruments Corp., but kept trading under its own
name, at least until the late 1960s.
