L3Harris Technologies, also known as L3Harris, is an
American technology company, defense contractor and information technology
services provider that produces a wide variety of electronic systems —
including C6ISR systems and products, wireless equipment, tactical radios,
avionics, night vision equipment and antennas — for the government, defense and
commercial markets.
L3Harris Technologies was formed on 29 June 2019 from the merger of
L3 Technologies (formerly:
L-3 Communications Holdings) and Harris Corporation [1].
As Harris had already taken over ITT in 2015, L3Harris became
the manufacturer of the SINCGARS radio product line.
