L3 Technologies, or L3, previously known as L-3 Communications Holdings, is an American company that supplies command and control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C3ISR) system and products, training devices, instrumentation, aerospace, and navigation products. Its main customers are the US Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, various US Government intelligence agencies, NASA, aerospace contractors, etc. The company has it headquarters in Murray Hill, New York City (USA) (previously: Camden).

The company was formed in 1997 as L-3 Communications, to acquire certain business units from Lockheed Martin (which had previously been part of Loral Corporation). These business units had previously belonged to Lockheed Martin, Martin Marietta, General Electric (GE) and RCA. The founding members were Frank Lanza, Robert LaPenta and Lehman Brothers, which accounts for the name L3. In October 2018, it was announced that — subject to approval — L3 would be merged with Harris Corporation in mid-2019 to become L3 Harris Technologies, Inc. The new company will be based in Melbourne (Florida, USA), where Harris is currently headquartered.
