Elbit Systems Ltd.

Elbit is a multinational military technology company and defense contractor, headquartered in Haifa (Israel). It was founded in 1966 by Elron Electronics Industries (Elron) as Elbit Computers Ltd., to develop computers for the Israeli Army. Elbit is now the primary provider of land-based equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to the Israeli Army. It has subsidaries around the world, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Romania and Brazil [1].
