Electro Data Inc.
- this page is a stub
Electro Data, Inc., abbreviated EDI, was an American electronics development company, based in Fort Lee (New Jersey, USA).
The company was amoung the first to develop a miniature open-reel
audio recorder for the US Central Intelligence Agency
(CIA). The recorder was used by CIA and FBI in
intelligence gathering operations,
and was later released as a commercially available product
At present, no further details about this company – such as the fouding
year and the name of the founder – are currently known. We believe that
this is not the Electro/Data company from Garland (Texas, USA),
that was repsonsible for the development of the Pulsar digital watches.
