Startek
Electronics manufacturer - this page is a stub

Startek International, Inc., abbreviated Startek, 1 was a manufacturer of professional measuring equipment, founded on 1 March 1988 by Fred J. Hufft (2 April 1941) in Fort Lauderdale (FL, USA). Hufft had previously been founder and co-owner of Optoelectronics, but after a divorce in 1988 he founded Startek whilst Optoelectronics was continued by his ex-wife Linda. The devices offered by Startek were very similar to those developed and marketed by Optoelectronics.

Startek was initially located at 398 NE 38 St, Fort Lauderdale (FL, USA). On 27 February 2016, the company moved to 3324 NE 34th St (also in Fort Lauderdale), whilst management was taken over by Hufft's daughter Joperl T. Hufft. The company was officially dissolved on 24 September 2021.
