Telegraphy encryptor - this page is a stub

Elcrotel 5, commonly abbreviated to ET-5, was an encryption/decryption device for telegraphy signals (telex), developed around 1990 by Siemens in München (Munich, Germany) and ANT in Backnang (Germany). Around 2000, all Elcrotel devices were replaced by Elcrobit and Elcrodat.

The image on the right shows the (detached) front panel of the device. At present, no further information about the Elcrotel 5 is available.
